Newport Hospitality Group (NHG) Celebrates Achievements at Annual Leadership Conference
Asheville, NC – This year, Newport Hospitality Group held its Leadership Conference under the theme “Together We Rise,” which celebrated connectivity, mindfulness, and a deep sense of belonging in Asheville, NC. Reflecting on the past year, we commended each other’s accomplishments. “The conference culminated in a gala dinner, highlighting our top hotel performers. These awards recognize the hotel teams that have excelled in delivering unparalleled results throughout the prior year. We congratulate and celebrate all of our winners,” said Andrew Carey, CEO.

The Gold Level accolades were achieved by Hilton Garden Inn Frederick, MD, Home2 Suites by Hilton Glen Mills Chadds Ford, PA, Residence Inn by Marriott Blacksburg-University, VA, and TownePlace Suites by Marriott Columbia Southeast/Fort Jackson, SC. At the Silver Level, awards were given to Comfort Inn & Suites Orlando North, FL, Courtyard by Marriott Somerset, NJ, Hilton Garden Inn Columbia/Harbison, SC, Hilton Garden Inn Airport Savannah, GA, Home2 Suites by Hilton Brunswick, GA, Hyatt Place Blacksburg/University, VA, SpringHill Suites by Marriott Greensboro, NC, and The Inn at Wise, VA.

The esteemed Golden Wrench Award, which lauds hotels for their meticulous care of infrastructure and premises, was proudly presented to Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Fayetteville North, NC.
Our Corporate Team Member of the Year was the dedicated Ron Baker, Corporate Director of Engineering from Newport Hospitality Group.
Home2 Suites by Hilton Glen Mills Chadds Ford, PA, emerged as the Hotel of the Year. Furthermore, its General Manager, Ryan Greene, clinched the General Manager of the Year award, while Rebecca Good took home the Director of Sales of the Year honor.
A special highlight was the Heart of Newport Award, which was gracefully received by Michelle Williams, Area Director of Sales, recognizing her unwavering dedication and contribution.
