Alicia Logan is responsible for the overall management of Human Resources for Newport Hospitality Group, Inc. She originates and leads Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an associate-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce.
Alicia has her bachelors degree in Business Management from Virginia State University and her MBA in Human Resources from Strayer University. Prior to joining NHG, Alicia worked with Lowe's Home Improvement Inc. and Wal-Mart Stores Inc. Alicia has worked for Newport Hospitality Group, Inc. since 2014 in our corporate payroll department. Among Alicia’s many strengths is her ability to build relationships at all levels and facilitate positive ongoing communication between managers, associates, and departments. She commands respect and inspires associates (including owners and general managers) to embrace NHG’s core values and culture.
Alicia has a passion for Human Resource law and helping others achieve the highest levels of service excellence through training. Two of her primary objectives are (1) The development of an associate-oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement and high performance (2) The monitoring of property level safety and security initiatives in order to ensure our hotels maintain a safe and secure environment for our associates and guests alike.
