Mark Hoefling | Newport Hospitality Group



Mark joins Newport Hospitality Group, bringing a strong owner relations, and multi brand background to having worked with both institutional and individual owners through his career.  He is a Business Administration graduate, from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln, and a Certified Hotel Administrator.

Starting as a sales manager with Holiday Inn over 20 years ago, Mark has successfully moved his way through all hotel functions. Prior to joining NHG, Mark was the Chief Operating Officer for American Hospitality Management, Inc.  He has 13 years with IHG Hotels and Resorts, working with all brands, in both the franchise and company managed divisions throughout the US, Canada and Mexico. Under Mark’s direction and leadership, many hotels received recognition as top performers receiving such awards as “Torchbearer”, and “Quality Excellence”. During his tenure with the managed division, 3 team members were recognized as Director of Sales of the year for their respective brands.

Mark and his wife Lisa, have three children (Nolan, Haley, and Tatum).   He enjoys playing a lot of golf with his bad handicap, and brings his love for Notre Dame Football to NHG.
