Corporate Director of Human Resources

Alicia leads NHG’s human resources team where she works to promote practices that will provide an associate-oriented, high performance culture while also emphasizing ongoing development, empowerment, adherence to a superior quality of work and personal goal attainment.

Receiving her undergraduate degree in business management from Virginia State University and an MBA in human resources from Strayer University, Alicia started her career at Wal-Mart Stores and Lowe’s Home Improvement. Joining NHG in 2014 as a corporate payroll manager, Alicia immediately stood out for her keen ability to build relationships at all levels as well as facilitate positive ongoing communications among associates and managers in different departments. She’s a constant inspiration for associates and executives to wholeheartedly embrace NHG’s core values.

With a passion for human resources law, Alicia thrives on helping others achieve the highest level of service excellence through training. In addition to her goal of developing an associate-oriented corporate culture, she also monitors property-level safety and security initiatives to ensure that all NHG-managed hotels maintain an environment that’s free from harm for both the team as well as guests.

Outside of the office, Alicia enjoys photography, scrapbooking and traveling. But above all, her family always comes first and she cherishes creating new memories with them.
