Tommy Beyer has been a vital component of Newport Hospitality Group’s success for over 10 years. During this time, he has progressed from a front desk associate to his current role as the Vice President of Regional Operations. Tommy’s keen understanding of the financial intricacies of each property help him drive improved profits to owners. He takes the time to develop a strong rapport with his General Managers and Owners representatives to ensure they will work hand in hand to deliver results that exceed the expectations of the Brand, Ownership and Management Company.
Throughout his career, Tommy has won awards. He has not only won many personal awards, but his teams have won numerous awards. He was named one of the Top 30 Under 30 by Hotel Management Magazine. He won the Stevan Porter Emerging Hospitality Leader of the Year by the AH&LA. He won GM of the Year for the State of Georgia and GM of the Year for Newport Hospitality Group. Some of the awards that his teams have won include the CEO Light and Warmth Award with Hilton, Best Guest Services for the State of Georgia and the Outstanding Lodging Employee of the Year from the AH&LA.
Combining his award-winning approach to hospitality with his financial acumen, Tommy is well positioned to assist all Owners and General Managers in achieving new levels of success. His focus on providing exceptional guest service all while exceeding financial expectations, results in more committed associates and more satisfied owners.
Tommy has a degree in Hospitality Management from the University of South Carolina. He is a Certified Hospitality Administrator from the AH&LEF and has completed numerous courses at Cornell through their Executive Professional Development Program.
